Indian law firm Argus Partners has grown its banking and finance practice with the addition of Utkarsh Bandhu as equity partner in Mumbai. Bandhu comes from JSA Advocates & Solicitors.

Bandhu has about 15 years of experience advising on cross-border bond issuances, debt capital markets, project financing, offshore borrowings, overseas direct investments, restructuring, acquisition financing, real estate financing, consortium lending, syndication, receivables purchase transactions, and regulatory advisory.

Before JSA, Bandhu spent over four years at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co as a principal associate.

“As we see our practice growing significantly in the private credit, energy & infrastructure and the corporate bond space, I am certain Utkarsh will play a key role in further growing and strengthening the same," said Krishnava Dutt, Argus’ managing partner, in a statement.
