Tatva Legal, Hyderabad has continued the expansion of its corporate practice with the addition of partner Tarunya Jain, who was a partner at Khaitan & Co until 2022.

In December, the firm hired Prateek Batra from Trilegal as a partner in its corporate practice.

Jain, a former partner at Khaitan & Co, has 17 of experience advising clients on transactions and corporate restructuring with a focus on including technology, manufacturing, electric vehicles, retail, e-commerce, insurance, media, pharmaceuticals, and the cement sectors.

She has a particular focus on incorporating ESG in deal dialogues, and structuring and negotiating domestic and cross-border PE, M&A, and demerger transactions.

Jain, who spent nearly 15 years at Khaitan at the start of her career, left the partnership in 2022 to take up another role as a C-suite executive.
