Dentons Link Legal, the Indian member firm of global law firm Dentons, has significantly bolstered its Mumbai-based capital markets practice with the addition of a 10-attorney team from Alliance Law led by Alliance’s co-managing partner Ankur Loona.

The move comes just six months after Loona was appointed co-managing partner at Alliance Law.

Loona brings over fifteen years of experience in capital markets, securities laws, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. He has expertise in mainboard transactions including public issues, rights issues, strategic M&A transactions and compliance strategies.

Dentons Link Legal, which joined the Dentons network in 2022, has been growing fast in the last year, adding seven partners in total, apart from launching an office in GIFT City. In 2023, it also hired at least six partners.

The exits leave Mumbai-based Alliance with just their founding partner R.S. Loona and associate partner Aparna Wagle.
