Luthra and Luthra Law Offices has significantly bolstered its project finance capabilities with the addition of a three-attorney team from SNG & Partners, led by veteran attorney Sharad Joshi.

With over 16 years of experience, Joshi regularly advises leading Indian banks and multinational conglomerates on project financing, infrastructure advisory and EPC contracting. His clients have included State Bank of India, Canara Bank, and Patanjali Foods.

Prior to joining SNG as a partner in 2023, Joshi co-founded advisory boutique Anoma Legal. He has also been a partner at Krishnamurthy & Co (K Law). Earlier in his career, he has had stints at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Clasis Law, and held in-house roles at Tata Realty and Infrastructure and Gammon Infrastructure Projects.

Joining Joshi on the move from SNG are associates Rachit Verma and Prarthana Markod.

“Sharad’s vast experience and in-depth knowledge will further strengthen our Corporate practice and enhance the service we provide to our clients, particularly in project financing and infrastructure,” said Harry Chawla, managing partner at Luthra and Luthra.

Joshi is the third prominent group move in the Indian market this year, following Luthra partner Vaibhav Suri taking a seven-attorney real estate team to CAM, and Dentons Link Legal bringing on a 10-member capital markets team from Alliance Law.
