Indian law firm Vertices Partners has added corporate partner Manu Varghese in its Mumbai office. He joins after an 18-month partner stint at Samvad Partners.

Varghese brings over 15 years of experience advising on strategic acquisitions and exits, private equity investments, joint ventures, inbound foreign investments, divestment of businesses and assets, outbound investments, FDIs, cross-border transactions, and joint ventures.

He was made partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in 2017, following which he joined White and Brief as head of its corporate and commercial practice in 2021. Varghese joined Samvad’s partnership in February 2023.

“I have known Manu for almost two decades and have seen him evolve into a wonderful lawyer and an even better human being. His DNA matches that of the Firm, and we are extremely happy to have him come on board and join us as a Partner in the Corporate Practice to help build the Firm further and add further fuel to the trajectory” said Vinayak Burman, founder and managing partner of Vertices Partners, in a statement.
