M&A-focused Anagram Partners has become the latest to turn to IndusLaw to expand its offerings with the addition of M&A and private equity-focused partner Faraz Khan in Mumbai.

Khan has over 12 years of experience advising private equity funds and domestic and multinational companies on investment transactions, M&A, business transfers, joint ventures and divestments across sectors, including manufacturing, healthcare, energy and electric mobility.

His recent clients have included Samara Capital, Paragon Partners (India), and Mahanagar Gas.

Khan was one of the many partners who joined IndusLaw as part of the firm’s strategic expansion in the last few years. Prior to Indus, he was a partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co.

Khan now joins a string of partners that have left IndusLaw in the past year. These departures include a sixty-lawyer capital markets team that joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, a six-lawyer real estate team led by Aviskhit Moral that moved to S&R Associates, and a four-lawyer disputes team led by Padmaja Kaul that left for JSA Advocates & Solicitors. Additionally, two employment partners moved to Khaitan & Co and a ten-lawyer M&A team transferred to Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co.

IndusLaw’s Nikita Goyal also moved to SAM, and former employment partner Sowmya Kumar moved to CAM earlier this year.

With Khan’s addition, Anagram now has nine partners across two offices.
