Bengaluru-headquartered Triumvir Law has bolstered its dispute resolution capabilities with the addition of attorney Ajay Kumar as a partner in India’s technology capital.

Kumar, who quit Samvad Partners in February as a principal associate, has a decade of experience in domestic and cross-border dispute resolution, having represented clients in construction, infrastructure, and international commercial arbitration cases, white-collar criminal disputes, and investigations in Bengaluru and Mumbai.

“Ajay’s presence will further enhance the firm’s capabilities in both Delhi and Bangalore, ensuring that the firm’s Bangalore disputes practice complements the established Delhi practice, which remains a key hub for litigation,” the firm said in a statement.

Added Triumvir Law’s managing partner, Anubhab Sarkar: “Our dual presence in both Delhi and Bangalore allows us to offer a robust dispute resolution practice, addressing the growing need for arbitration services, especially niche international arbitration that demands not only legal knowledge but also deep subject matter expertise. Ajay’s experience in these areas will be a significant asset as we continue to expand our practice.”

With Kumar coming on board, the firm now has three partners and two associate partners across offices.

Triumvir Law was named one of ALB’s top PE/VC boutique firms in India in 2024.
