Mumbai-based boutique Bombay Law Chambers has added Nandini Pathak as a partner to head its investment funds and asset management practice. She was previously a leader in the same practice at Nishith Desai Associates.

Pathak had been with NDA since the commencement of her career in 2014. She was made a leader in the investment funds practice in 2019.

She has advised domestic and international clients on fund formation, fundraising and governance issues. Her expertise spans the alternatives space, including guidance for general partners (GPs) and limited partners (LPs), intermediaries, foreign portfolio investors, investment advisers, portfolio managers, and research analysts.

“We couldn't be more excited to have someone with the technical and interpersonal skills of Nandini join the partnership and lead our initiative in this space. Looking forward to growing the practice and accelerating BLC's vision to be the go-to law firm for the investment ecosystem,” Bombay Law Chambers said in a statement.

The firm has eight partners, including Pathak, across its corporate and commercial practices.
