Indian intellectual property boutique KAnalysis has opened an office in the U.S. state of Florida after hiring attorneys Jose Cherson (L) and Michael Feldenkrais to lead its growth in the country.

Cherson is a registered US patent agent with 15 years of experience, specialising in artificial intelligence, telecommunications, digital signal processing, and biomedical devices. His experience includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications, developing IP strategies, and conducting due diligence investigations.

Cherson was most recently a patent attorney based in Tel Aviv with a focus on IP laws in Israel and the U.S.

Feldenkrais brings over 30 years of legal experience, particularly in cannabis law, where he has helmed medical marijuana-focused companies in Florida and operates two cannabis cultivation facilities. His legal focus also includes commercial law, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and healthcare.

"We are thrilled to establish our presence in the United States and welcome Joe and Michael to our team. Their exceptional expertise and diverse backgrounds will undoubtedly enhance our ability to serve clients in all dimensions of law. This expansion is a testament to our commitment to providing comprehensive legal solutions globally," said Nilanshu Shekhar, founding partner of KAnalysis, in a statement.

KAnalysis was established in 2007 as an IP research firm. Now a full-service IP law firm, it has six partners and over 32 fee-earners.
