Mumbai-headquartered boutique ANB Legal has established a maritime practice after hiring Apurva Mehta as a partner to lead it.

Mehta advises owners, charterers, traders, terminal operators, freight forwarders and insurers on litigations and arbitrations related to maritime laws, international commercial and trade including insurance and cargo claims, personal injury and death matters, arrest and release of vessels, ship sale and purchase, ship building and financing, and port and customs. She has practiced independently for the entirety of her 12-year career.

Founded in 2013, ANB Legal now has seven partners.
