Gurugram-based law firm Antares Legal has become the latest in a recent slew of firms to open an office in the red-hot market of Bengaluru after hiring transactions lawyer Sindhushree Gadasalli as a partner from local boutique Mani Chengappa & Mathur.

Gadasalli advises on private equity, venture capital, venture debt, and M&A, as well as general corporate. She joined Mani Chengappa & Mathur in 2018 and became a principal associate in 2021, having previously worked at Samvād Partners and Themis Associates.

With the new office, Antares joins the likes of Inttl AdvocarePLA AdvocatesEmerald LawStratage Law Partners and Wadia Ghandy & Co, all of whom have launched Bengaluru outposts in recent times. Lalu John Philip, a former partner at J Sagar Associates, recently launched his own firm, Boolean Legal.
