Indian IP-focused law firm Inttl Advocare has set up an office in the southern city of Bengaluru, its third branch after Delhi and Mumbai.

The office in Bengaluru, India’s technology capital, will be headed by managing associate Anindhya Sharma. Sharma, who advises on IP processes, disputes and enforcement, joined the firm in 2018.

Bengaluru “is a hub for technology and innovation,” said Hemant Singh, founder and managing partner of Inttl Advocare, in a statement. “Establishing an office there positions us to physically be part of this emerging hub. It provides opportunities to tap into diverse industries, especially in the tech and startup sectors.”

Bengaluru, home to more than 67,000 technology companies, has recently seen a steady flow of Indian law firms setting up offices there. Last year, Emerald Law Offices, Wadia Ghandy & Co, and Stratage Law Partners established presences in that city.
