Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has continued its strong hiring in July with the addition of corporate partner Jay Parikh from Luthra and Luthra Law Offices, according to sources with knowledge of the move.

CAM confirmed the hire with managing partner Cyril Shroff adding, "I am delighted to welcome Jay back to the Firm. His legal expertise will be a great asset, further elevating our practice and enhancing our capabilities to serve our clients.”

Parikh, who joins CAM’s corporate team in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, brings close to two decades of experience in corporate transactions, private equity and banking and finance.

As CAM continues to expand its horizons, I look forward to contributing my experience of almost two decades in that direction with an aim to achieve outstanding results for our clients," Parikh added. 

His clients have included GMM Pfaudler, UVARCL Dr Lal Path Labs, Luxottica Group, Neev Fund II, and Rolls-Royce Power Systems.

CAM has been busy hiring in July, adding IndusLaw’s entire capital markets practice including eight partners, Trilegal counsel Poornima Hariharan in Bengaluru, Trilegal banking partner Pranav Sharma in Mumbai, and corporate partner Himanshu Chahar in the newly launched Abu Dhabi office.

In the same month, the firm saw two capital markets partners join Trilegal, and one move to Talvar Thakore & Associates, while equity partner Shishir Vayttaden took his team to Khaitan & Co.
