Indian law firm Khaitan Legal Associates (KLA) has appointed Vivek Bajoria as a partner in Bengaluru, bolstering its logistics and supply chain practice.

Bajoria, a former startup founder and general counsel with over 13 years of experience across India, the U.S., and Southeast Asia, will enhance the firm's capabilities in corporate law, venture capital, and cross-border transactions, the firm said in a statement.

Additionally, the firm expects the move to strengthen Khaitan Legal Associates' presence in the Bengaluru market, a key tech hub in India.

Previously, Bajoria held leadership positions at Anheuser-Busch InBev and served as global general counsel for Singapore-based cloud logistics company Locad. He also co-founded WarehouseNow, a B2B logistics startup that raised 80 million rupees ($9.7 million) in seed funding.

"Vivek's diverse experience, strategic mindset, and client-centric approach align perfectly with our firm's values and objectives," said Sakate Khaitan, senior partner of KLA, in a statement.

Set up in 2014 by Khaitan, KLA now has seven partners and two associate partners.
