Dentons Link Legal, global law firm Dentons’ India member firm, has made its seventh lateral partner hire of the year with the addition of Rajesh Pal as a partner in its corporate and commercial practice in Mumbai from JSA Advocates & Solicitors.

With about two decades of experience, Pal specializes in mergers and acquisitions, formation of joint ventures, domestic and cross-border investments, business takeovers and transfers, corporate restructuring, reconstruction, and private equity investments. He has advised both domestic and international clients on various facets of law, with a particular focus on general corporate commercial laws and exchange control laws.

Prior to his tenure at JSA, Pal worked at law firms, including ARA LAW (now Begur & Partners), Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, and Thakker & Thakker.

This latest move continues Dentons Link Legal's aggressive expansion strategy. Earlier this year, the firm made several key hires across various practice areas. Mustafa Motiwala joined with a team from Clasis Law to boost the disputes resolution practice. Banking and finance experts Madhur Verma and Manoj Panzade were hired for the firm's new GIFT City office, while Nayona Roy was brought on board to strengthen the TMT practice in Mumbai.

The firm also added Parul Verma to its Delhi office from Kochhar & Co, and recruited disputes and aviation specialist Petrushka Dasgupta from ALMT Legal.
