Intellectual property specialist law firm Anand and Anand has recruited IP lawyer Omesh Puri as a partner in Delhi from rival LexOrbis.

With nearly two decades of experience, Puri advises on IP-related issues such as trademark, copyright and design with a focus on the technology sector. He represents clients on domain name disputes before the National Internet Exchange of India and the World Intellectual Property Organization.

Puri joined LexOrbis in 2012 as a senior associate, becoming an associate partner in 2016 and partner in 2019. Previously, he worked at Inttl Advocare, another IP boutique, for more than three years.

Puri’s addition has taken the number of partners at Anand and Anand to 30.
