Singhania & Co has strengthened its construction and infrastructure arbitration team by appointing Sridhar Mothe, former head of NCC’s Contracts & Claims Building, as a partner in Hyderabad.

Mothe has 35 years of experience in both the government and private sectors, notably in managing claims, litigations, and disputes through various arbitration forums, dispute resolution boards, and conciliations. His background includes expertise in contract administration, particularly with models from the Consulting Engineers Association of India, and proficiency in delay analysis methodologies.

Having previously served at Central Engineering Services from 1987 to 2007, Mothe later joined SEW Infrastructure as Head of Contracts & Legal before his role at NCC in 2015.

"His vast experience and deep expertise in contract management and dispute resolution will significantly enhance our arbitration practice, enabling us to provide even more comprehensive and effective solutions to our clients," said Rohit Jain, managing partner of Singhania & Co.
