Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan has hired M&A expert Jivesh Chandrayan (L) and tax specialist Sudin Sabnis as partners in New Delhi and Pune, respectively. Chandrayan joins from HSA Advocates, while Sabnis was in an in-house role in the Munich office of German giant Siemens.

Chandrayan, who left HSA as a partner following a six-year stint at the firm, was also previously a partner at Kochhar & Co and JDS Lawchambers. He advises clients in IT, IT-enabled services, telecom, fintech, defence, renewable energy, engineering, consumer electronics, tourism, healthcare, mining, clothing and textile, and real estate on transactions, including M&A, compliance, due diligence, corporate governance, labour and IP.

Meanwhile, Sabnis advises clients in IT, shipping, healthcare and automotive ancillary industries on international taxation and transfer pricing. Previously, he worked at Deloitte Haskins & Sells and PwC.
