New Delhi-based law firm K Datta & Associates has merged with boutique litigation firm SSRA Legal to bolster its dispute resolution capabilities and expand expertise in business advisory, transactions and tax.

SSRA Legal's founder, Sonam Sharma, has joined K Datta as a partner with his team, bringing experience and a track record in dispute resolution to the full-service firm founded in 2000.

"Sharma's litigation expertise, combined with our existing strengths, will enable us to provide unparalleled legal solutions to our clients," said Manish Kumar Srivastava, managing partner of K Datta.

The merger takes the total number of fee-earners at K Datta to 11, including two partners, the firm said.

K Datta's clients include multinational corporations, regulators and emerging companies operating in sectors such as technology, energy, infrastructure, and financial services.
