Bengaluru-based attorneys Sneha Nagaraj (L) and Gautham Gururaj have launched a new firm called Frontline Law Partners, adding international lawyer Illarion Igorevich Girs to focus on cross-border litigation and transactional work.

The firm offers dispute resolution, arbitration, transactional, and corporate advisory capabilities, with the Nagaraj and Gururaj together bringing over 35 years of experience in cross-border dispute resolution and advisory work, respectively. The firm currently has over ten fee-earners.

“At Frontline Law Partners, we see disputes not as disruptions but as pivotal moments requiring strategic action and swift resolution,” says Nagaraj, a UK-trained arbitrator and mediator whose extensive background in complex litigation forms a core pillar of the firm’s services. “Our approach ensures clients can devote their attention to driving their businesses forward while we handle the intricacies of their legal challenges.”

Reflecting on the rapidly evolving business landscape, Gururaj emphasizes how the firm’s broad experience will help clients adapt to new challenges. “Whether it’s guiding a promising startup through a funding round, advising a multinational on structuring cross-border ventures, or assisting corporates with regulatory compliance, Frontline Law Partners operates as an integrated extension of the client’s own teams. We believe this approach results in creative solutions and enduring partnerships,” he says.

Gururaj has run his independent practice in Bengaluru since 2011, prior to which he was a senior associate at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices.

Though headquartered in Bengaluru, Frontline Law Partners plans to operate on a global scale, bolstered by the addition of Girs, who brings over 20 years of experience, to oversee cross-border and international matters. “This is an exciting time for India to showcase its leadership in the legal and mediation sector, especially with a view to progressive growth and cooperation within BRICS” says Girs. “I am delighted to be working with Sneha and Gautham to extend the firm’s presence across the European continent and beyond.”
