Indian boutique Numen Law Offices has expanded beyond commercial disputes and indirect tax offerings with the absorption of corporate boutique Manasi Chaudhari & Associates, led by partner Manasi Chaudhari.

The move establishes Numen's third office in Hyderabad, in addition to its locations in New Delhi and Mumbai, and adds business law, intellectual property, entertainment, real estate, and corporate legal advisory to its offerings.

“This merger marks a significant milestone in our journey as we complete five years. Manasi’s exceptional legal acumen, innovative approach, and deep expertise in corporate, intellectual property, entertainment, and real estate law perfectly complement our existing strengths. With Hyderabad becoming our third office, we are poised to deliver enhanced, localised support to clients across India,” Numen Law’s partners said in a statement.

Chaudhari brings nearly ten years of experience in both dispute resolution and corporate advisory, including a stint as an in-house counsel at Incor Group. She is also the founder of Pink Legal, India’s first digital platform focused on women's rights.

“This merger allows me to scale our capabilities, leverage Numen’s infrastructure and expertise, and expand our reach to better serve clients not only in Hyderabad but across India,” Chaudhari said.

With this merger, Chaudhari becomes the fifth partner at Numen Law, which was founded in 2019.  The other partners are Arush Khanna, George Thomas, Lakshmi Raman, and Chaitanyaa Bhandarkar.

Notably, Numen Law Offices was named as one of ALB’s top disputes boutiques in India for 2024.
