S&R Associates has added disputes specialist Shivani Khandekar as a partner in New Delhi from Singhania & Co. Khandekar is joined by associates Gokul Holani and SM Shriram Kashyap.

Khandekar’s practice covers commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitration, regulatory and insolvency matters. She has represented clients in the manufacturing, infrastructure, finance and telecommunications sectors before various courts and tribunals in India. Khandekar is an advocate-on-record registered with the Supreme Court of India.

Before joining the partnership at Singhania & Co., Khandekar was a counsel at Trilegal.

S&R has witnessed a lot of lateral partner movement in and out of the firm in 2024. The firm hired a real estate team from IndusLaw, a projects and M&A partner from Economic Laws Practice and a banking partner from Samvad Partners.

But it lost M&A partner Mohit Gogia to Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, while banking and finance pro Divyanshu Pandey joined JSA Advocates and Solicitors as an equity partner.

S&R Associates now has approximately 150 lawyers, including 40 partners and counsel.
