New Delhi-headquartered Obhan & Associates has become the latest law firm to establish an office in the technology hub of Bengaluru.

The new office will be led by partner Akanksha Dua and aims to serve existing clients in southern India while tapping into the city's thriving business ecosystem. Dua has been with the firm since 2015 and became a partner in April this year.

"We are excited to expand our horizon and open our new office in Bengaluru," said Essenese Obhan, the firm’s managing partner. "This expansion is testimony to our growth and the increasing demand for our expertise in this vibrant city."

Obhan & Associates, which also has offices in Mumbai and Pune, views Bengaluru as a strategic location to enhance its capabilities and forge connections with both local and international clients.

The office launch comes as Bengaluru, often referred to as India's Silicon Valley, continues to see several law firm office openings, as well as a plethora of local partner hires by the larger players.
