Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has served as legal advisor to digital-first life sciences commercialisation company Indegene and individual selling shareholders on its 1.84 billion-rupee ($220 mln) initial public offering on Indian bourses.

Meanwhile, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. has advised the book-running lead managers, namely Citigroup Global Markets India, Kotak Mahindra Capital, and Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India).

The IPO was subscribed more than 69 times overall, with the qualified institutional buyers component seeing demand of over 197 times, while the non-institutional buyers component saw a demand of over 54 times.

The SAM transaction team was led by capital markets practice head Prashant Gupta, and included partner Ruth Chenchiah, senior associates Addway Bandyopadhyay and Ankur Verma, and associate Purva Mishra.

The CAM team representing Indigene was led by capital markets practice head Yash Ashar, and comprised Vijay Parthasarathi, Saurav Das, Vartika Bhatnagar, Prajna Kariappa, Kunal Badesra, Anish Meduri, and Anna Kallivayalil.

The CAM team representing individual selling shareholders Manish Gupta, Rajesh Bhaskaran Nair and Anita Nair comprised partner Vinay Sirohia and principal associate Tanvi Kini.

The CAM transaction team advising on employment law and general corporate matters included partners Bharath Reddy and Sindhushri Badarinath, principal associate Dipti Khatri, and associate Simran Abhay Jain.
