Saraf and Partners has advised state-owned non-banking financial company Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) on its 21-billion-rupee ($260 million) IPO, with Hogan Lovells and Dentons Link Legal representing the book running lead managers.

According to Reuters, IREDA, established in 1987, provides financial assistance for setting up projects related to new and renewable sources of energy and energy conservation. It added that this was the first IPO filed by a public sector enterprise since Life Insurance Corp's subdued listing in May 2022.

The Saraf team was led by partner Murtaza Zoomkawala.
