Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co has advised Hitachi Energy India on its equity offering via a qualified institutions placement worth $300 million, with Trilegal representing the bookrunning lead managers ICICI Securities and HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India). 

This is the largest Indian QIP offering to date in the current calendar year. 

SAM’s capital markets team was led by partner Nikhil Naredi and included Priya Awasthi, senior associate Chinmay Sethia, and associates Manish Soni, Avani Sharda and Dhanashree Singe. The transaction was also supported by partner Arjun Perikal.

The Trilegal capital markets team advising on the mandate was led by partner Vijay Parthasarathi, and supported by associates Harshvardhan Lahiri, Lajja Mehta, Kohsheen Saraf, Samarth Bharadwaj, and Sanath Rajesh.

Indian law firm S&R Associates has advised Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services subsidiary Roadstar Infra Investment Trust, its sponsor Roadstar Infra and Roadstar Investment Managers in the listing of 455.4 million InvIT units at a valuation of approximately $980 million.
