Dentons Link Legal has expanded its disputes resolution practice with the addition of a team from Clasis Law led by practice head Mustafa Motiwala, who joins as senior partner, and associate partners Aniketh Nair and Nihal Shaikh.

Motiwala has over three decades of experience in litigation, international and domestic arbitration, enforcement of foreign awards and judgements, real estate, intellectual property rights, media and entertainment and corporate work.

He has advised across a variety of sectors including real estate, insurance, credit insurance, admiralty and international trade, aviation, corporate and commercial, banking and finance, shareholders disputes, intellectual property rights, insolvency, white collar crimes, commercial disputes and media and entertainment laws.

Prior to joining Clasis in 2014, Motiwala worked at Juris Corp, AM Law, Dua Associates, and Hooseini Doctor & Co.

Nair specializes in commercial litigation, arbitration, intellectual property, advertising, insolvency, economic offences, credit insurance and mergers and acquisitions.  

Shaikh has over a decade of experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, and advises on commercial claims, shipping and international trade, credit insurance, EPC and infrastructure projects, insolvency and bankruptcy, white-collar and real estate.

Dentons Link Legal has been expanding this year across practice areas, adding banking and finance partners Madhur Verma and Manoj Panzade in its newly launched GIFT City office, and Nayona Roy in its Mumbai-based TMT practice.

Earlier this year, Dentons Link Legal hired Parul Verma as a partner in Delhi from Kochhar & Co, and disputes and aviation specialist Petrushka Dasgupta from ALMT Legal
