Salah Mattoo is the co-head of the firm’s international arbitration practice in London, specialising in investment treaty arbitration, with clients based in or doing business in the Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.
Salah Mattoo’s practice focuses on international arbitration, public international law, internal corporate investigations and complex cross-border litigation in the English and overseas courts. He also advises clients in a range of industries on anti-corruption compliance matters. He has represented clients in arbitration governed by the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC); the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade (UNCITRAL). He has also advised a respondent state in a contentious case before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
