Indian law firm Saraf and Partners has continued its aggressive growth in 2023 with the launch of an office in one of India’s biggest urban centres, Hyderabad. The office will be led by partners Durga Bose Gandham (L) and Altaf Fatima, who have joined from DSK Legal.

Bose Gandham and Fatima moved to DSK last year in a 63-lawyer move from Luthra and Luthra Law Offices and established the firm’s Hyderabad office. Following their departures, DSK has no partners left in Hyderabad.

Bose Gandham specialises in insolvency law, corporate advisory, banking and antitrust matters and has advised multiple domestic and international clients across sectors, Saraf said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Fatima specialises in commercial litigation, real estate matters, employment law and enforcement directorate matters.

“We have a strong and growing client base in Hyderabad, and this expansion will significantly enhance our ability to serve our clients in the region," managing partner Mohit Saraf said in a statement.

Earlier this year, Saraf added M&A partners Ramya Suresh from AZB and Dhruv Chatterjee from Trilegal in Mumbai, and tax partner Amit Gupta in Delhi. It also merged with real estate boutique SRGR.

Saraf now has 37 partners across offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
