Five-partner Indian law firm The Precept Law Offices has formed a strategic alliance with Dubai-based Ahmed AlRaeesi Advocates and Legal Consultants to serve clients in India and the United Arab Emirates.

Precept’s offices in Delhi and Bengaluru will leverage AlRaeesi’s presence in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) and vice versa. The alliance brings together 50 legal professionals from both firms, with an aim of providing a seamless client experience across jurisdictions.

In a joint statement, the firms added that the alliance would enhance “their ability to cater to the diverse legal needs of clients operating in India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).”

Dubai has seen an increase in incoming law firm traffic from India, with at least five firms setting up shop in the United Arab Emirates’ capital in 2023. AKS Partners, Goswami & Nigam, Singularity Legal, Vidhisastras Advocates & Solicitors and Parin Legal all opened offices in Dubai this year.

Law firm leaders say that UAE’s growing bilateral trade relations with India, pro-technology regulatory approach, and the capital city’s drive to become an international dispute resolution hub are bringing more Indian law firms to its shores.
