Bengaluru-based private equity boutique Rajaram Legal has recruited Chitra Raghavan as the head of its M&A and general corporate practice. Raghavan joins from an in-house role at Reliance Industries.

She becomes Rajaram Legal’s second later partner hire this year. In January, the firm added corporate lawyer Upasana Gupta as a partner.

With roughly two decades of experience, Raghavan advises startups and established companies on M&A. She earlier had stints at Samvād Partners and Poovayya & Co.

Raghavan’s arrival has taken the number of partners at Rajaram Legal to three.
