Bobby Chandhoke (L) and Sudhir Sharma, partners of Indian law firm DSK Legal, have left the firm barely a year after joining and are now set to launch their own firm called C&S Partners.

Chandhoke and Sharma had joined DSK in July last year after joining as part of a 63-lawyer move from L&L Partners. Two other partners who had joined them in the move to DSK will accompany them in the switch to C&S Partners, namely Anant Garg and Prashant Mishra.

Confirming their departures, a DSK spokesperson quoted managing partner Anand Desai as saying, “Bobby and Sudhir feel they have a better future on their own, outside DSK. I respect that. I wish them all the best. They will continue working with and supporting the team they brought in with them from Luthra.”
