Dr. Drs. Chandra Setiawan, M.M., Ph.D., Commissioner, Indonesia Competition Commission

Dr. Drs. Chandra Setiawan, M.M., Ph.D. is a holder of Doctorandus Degree in Business Management from Islamic University of Indonesia, Yogyakarta. He attained his Master’s Degree in Investment & Banking from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta in 1990. He continued his doctoral education at State University of Jakarta majoring in Education Management and graduated in 2001. In addition to this education, Chandra also attended doctoral education majoring in finance at the Graduate School of Management (Putra Business School), UPM Malaysia in 2011.Chandra was a commissioner of KPPU for period 2012-2018 and he is re-elected for the second term for period 2018-2023. He has also served as a lecturer at President University since 2012. He was entrusted to become the Rector of the President University in 2012-2016.

Ingkan Simanjuntak, Country Counsel in Indonesia, Brunei and Timor Leste, Meta

Ingkan started her in-house career 22 years ago and spent her early years in banking and corporate sector. She is now a seasoned Indonesian legal professional focusing on TMT, an industry she has been working in for the past 13 years, and currently is the Country Counsel for Meta in Indonesia, Brunei and Timor Leste. A mother of two teenagers, Ingkan is also passionate about health and developing education especially in rural areas. She sits as one of the board members of Hidup Baru Foundation, overseeing the management of health clinics in Jakarta and Serpong area. She is also involved in various volunteer projects since 2006, including mentorship programs for underprivileged youth and providing assistance for organisations focusing in education and community services.

Lawrence Foo is a Partner in the Indonesia, Restructuring & Insolvency and Special Situations Advisory Practices at WongPartnership LLP. His areas of practice encompass cross-border restructuring & insolvency, international & domestic arbitration, and corporate & commercial disputes. In her role as Business Development Manager, Theresia handles growth and sales in developing business for LexisNexis Southeast Asia, focusing on Indonesia. She's committed towards driving partnership with the legal community and helping government, academic and legal fraternity in providing solutions to best support their daily legal requirements and to grow their businesses. Legal Professional which started his career in a law firm and proceeds to work as in-house counsel in various business sectors which includes telecommunication, mining, and IT.  Currently serving in HP Inc as Country Counsel for Indonesia, Philippines & Pakistan and Personal System (PS) Market Liaison Counsel for Greater Asia & China Region.

Antonius Alexander Tigor, General Manager Legal Corporate, Telkomsel

Antonius has extensive legal and regulatory experience with a leading digital telecom company. He is a policy adviser to stakeholders and is frequently requested speaker in Europe, Dubai, and Southeast Asia. In the last four years, he consistently had a prominent high rank in the sector to support the shareholder of the company, Telkom and Singapore Telecom. In May 2022, Antonius won Young Lawyer of the Year at the regional level in Southeast Asia in Singapore from ALB Thomson Reuters. He was also listed as an In-House Lawyer of The Year & Data Protection and Privacy Lawyer of The Year at the regional level (Singapore). He is a Chevening Scholar (A global British Government prestigious scholarship).

Arko Kanadianto, Head of Legal, Compliance and Corporate Communications, PT Bridgestone Tire Indonesia

Arko is graduated from Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia both for his law degree and master degree. He has more than 16 years’ experience as legal & compliance professional and currently holds a position as Country General Counsel of Bridgestone Indonesia, managing legal aspect of Bridgestone’s tire business and rubber plantations in Indonesia. Arko was awarded as Bridgestone’s Global Rising Star in 2019 and Bridgestone’s “Next 100 Executives” in 2021.

Fradella Nainggolan (Fadel), Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate Legal , PT XL Axiata Tbk

A passionate hard worker who is devoted in becoming a worldclass legal practitioner. An outstanding law student graduated from University of Padjadjaran and postgraduate program of University of Gadjah Mada, Jakarta. Mr. Fradella Nainggolan (Fadel) possesses  more than 9 (nine years) of work experience, both as an advocate and in-house counsel, with keen interest on corporate law, M&A, capital market, employment law and dispute resolution. Prior to joining PT XL Axiata Tbk, Fadel has also worked in several prominent Indonesian law firms, focusing on being both a corporate lawyer and a litigator.

Frederic Brion, General Counsel, PT Indosat Tbk

Frederic started his career 24 years ago in the US working for various law firms before becoming an in-house lawyer in 1999 in the telecom industry. Avid traveller, Frederic worked in Sub-Saharan Africa, the middle east and Asia before settling in Indonesia 15 years ago as General Counsel of Hutchison 3 Indonesia, then upon merger with Indosat as General Counsel of Indosat, a position he occupies today. Frederic has keen interests in food and cooking, and spends considerable amount of time in promoting animal welfare.

Mrs. Isti Dyah Kusumawati joined Shimizu Group since December 2014 in the Human Resources Planning (“HRP”). She was appointed to set up Legal Group in Shimizu Group Jakarta on May 2015, and became the first Corporate Secretary & Legal Group Head for Both Companies (May 2015 – April 2016), then Corporate Secretary & Senior Legal Group Head on May 2016 till now. As Corporate Secretary, she carries out the mission to support the duties of the Board of Directors and Management, specifically to establish and maintain a good relation with internal and external parties, such as regulators, government bodies, shareholders and other stakeholders, which in line with the principle of the Analects and the Abacus in Shimizu Corporation Group and the Company slogan of “Today’s work, Tomorrow’s Heritage”. Other responsibilities that she carries out daily are in the area of corporate licensing and compliance. She was born in Jakarta and received her bachelor’s degree in law, from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, Depok in 1999 and continued her master degree in European Studies, from the same University in 2005-2006. She has a broad knowledge, skills and experiences for more than 20 years as associate lawyer, in-house legal, as well as corporate secretary in several different types of business. She’s a registered mediator in PMN (The Indonesian Mediation Center) and has obtained her advocate license 20 years ago.

Makki Kusuma is a professional corporate lawyer with unique combination of experience: Structuring M&A in natural resources and financial industry, re-shaping the insuretech model in Indonesia and SEA, played a key role in digital and culture transformation in company, and leading massive of strategic intiatives beyond legal matters which resulted an award an Insurance Top Leader for Product Development back in 2018, the only lawyer that appreciated by Industry for his effort in transforming the operations of product development process in an Insurance company.

Michael Widyaputra, Head of Legal & AML-CFT, BRI Ventures

Michael Widyaputra is a licensed Indonesian attorney with more than 5 years of experience. Michael went to take his Master of Laws degree at the University of Melbourne, under the Indonesian Endowment Fund For Education (LPDP) Scholarship, and previously obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree at Universitas Indonesia, both graduating cum laude. Currently, Michael acts as the Head of Legal & AML-CFT at BRI Ventures, supervising the investment and corporate & compliance legal affairs of the company and its subsidiaries. Michael also holds several licenses namely Investment Manager Representative (WMI) from OJK and Certified Personal Data Protection Officer (CDPO) from APPDI.

Puspita Hendra Sari, Country Legal Counsel, 3M

Puspita Hendra Sari (Nita) is a Country Legal Counsel at 3M.  Prior to 3M, she worked in a pharmaceutical industry and a multi-industry conglomerate group in Indonesia. She provides business-minded legal supports on translating global business development transactions, trade, intellectual property, data privacy, consumer protection, employment, litigation and also regulation advocacies. Being an in-house counsel requires her to be pragmatic, be a commercially savvy legal business partner with good sense of business acumen. Admitted in Indonesia (PERADI holder), prior to her journey as in-house counsel, she was a practicing lawyer in both Jakarta and Singapore, namely Ali Budiardjo Nugroho Reksodiputro, Lubis Ganie Surowidjo and Colin Ng & Partners. Nita earned her bachelor degree from University of Indonesia and master degree from National University of Singapore.

Risky Aliansyah, Vice President Legal - Financial Service, Traveloka

Rizky is a seasoned in-house legal counsel that is currently focusing on developing Traveloka Financial Services businesses.  Previously, he led the corporate, commerce, and advisory legal team in Traveloka handling all Traveloka’s product-related legal matters for almost 5 years.  He also heavily involved in several major fundraising rounds in Traveloka and in the development of Traveloka’s products, from 2 major products in 2016 to more than 20 products in 2022. Rizky started his lawyer career as a legal associate in one of prominent lawfirms in Jakarta, Indonesia, focusing on mining, plantation, and energy. He graduated from Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, in 2012, majoring in Economic Law.

Robert Orylius Yohan Pantouw, General Counsel/Legal and Risk Management Division Head, Tower Bersama Group

Mr. Robert Orylius Yohan (R.O.Y.) Pantouw is an Indonesian licensed advocate practicing law with experiences of 15 years prior to joining Tower Bersama Group more than a decade ago, both as an in-house counsel of a few Jakarta-based publicly listed companies and as a lawyer in private practices for several law firms in Jakarta and in Singapore.Mr. Pantouw’s practice focuses on telecommunication, telecommunication infrastructures, land / conveyancing, real property, cross-border investments, mergers & acquisitions, banking and finance.  Mr. Pantouw has handled many large cross-border investments, M&A transactions and acquisition financing. He is also actively participate in legal aspects of palm oil plantation seminars and workshops as speaker.

Extensive experience and knowledge as general legal counsel in capital market, M&A, restructuring, competition, digital, tax planning and broadcasting sector with business investments in Indonesia and other regions. Obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung in 1998; LL.M degree from Leiden University, the Netherlands in 2000; Master of Business Administration degree from the ITB School of Business & Management, Bandung in 2009; and attended High Potential Leadership program held by Harvard Business School, USA in 2012. Previously served as Commissioner of PT Espay Debit Indonesia Koe (DANA emoney) (2017-2020), Chief Legal & Strategic Head of Orang Tua Group (2013-2015), Legal Director of the PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (“EMTEK”) (2007-2013), and partner at Dermawan & Co Law firm (1999-2006).  Concurrently serves as Legal Director of EMTEK (since 2015), Chairwoman of ESG Committee of EMTEK (since 2021), Corporate Secretary (since 1 October 2016).
