Thitiwat Wisarath, Co-founder, The THAI Corporate Counsel Association (THAI-CCA) & Chief Legal, Compliance and Risk Officer, Gulf Binance Co. Ltd.
Thitiwat Wisarath is the Chief Legal, Compliance, and Risk Officer of Gulf Binance, where he plays a crucial role in ensuring the company operates within the regulated frameworks of Thailand’s digital asset landscape. Thitiwat’s extensive legal background and comprehensive understanding of compliance and risk management have positioned him as a trusted legal professional within the financial industry. His ability to navigate legal complexities while fostering strategic partnerships and ensuring regulatory compliance has consistently yielded outstanding results.
Prior to this, Thitiwat served as Country Counsel at Citibank Thailand for nearly a decade, playing a pivotal role in the bank’s operations. During his tenure, he gained valuable insights into the complexities of the banking industry and honed his skills in navigating legal and regulatory frameworks. After that, Thitiwat embarked on a new chapter by joining Central JD Fintech Group, a prominent fintech startup. As the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, he took on the responsibility of overseeing the legal and regulatory aspects of the company’s comprehensive platform which revolutionized the financial landscape by offering e-wallet, e-payment, digital lending and digital insurance brokerage services to a staggering base of over 2 million customers.

Currently she holds the position of the Head of the Retail Credit Risk Management at TTB Bank, managing one third of the banks combined loan asset of about 1.800 billion THB. She is an avid supporter of diversity at the workplace and higher management.
Guadalupe Lyn Vergel De Dios, Head of Compliance and Government Relations, Xendit
Atty. Guadalupe Lyn P. Vergel de Dios is currently the Head of Compliance and Government Relations at Xendit, a leading regional fintech company. In this role, she spearheads strategic initiatives in compliance and engages with government stakeholders to ensure regulatory adherence and foster positive relations. Prior to her role at Xendit, she served as the Chief Compliance Officer for Globe Fintech Innovation ("GCash"), Regional Compliance Head for North Asia, China & the Philippines at MoneyGram International where she concurrently served as its Compliance Officer for Privacy and was a Member of the Board of Directors of its Philippine subsidiary. Before venturing into fintech, her career included serving as an associate at law firms in the Philippines and Mayer Brown JSM in Thailand. Her role as Securities Counsel at the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission showcased her expertise in regulatory matters. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond her professional roles into various affiliations where she actively contributes to industry development and good governance: President and Trustee of the Association of Remittance Company Compliance Officers-Philippines (ARCCO), Vice President and Trustee, Corporate Secretary of Good Governance Advocates and Practitioners of the Philippines, Faculty Member at the School of Law and Governance, University of Asia and the Pacific. She is a highly qualified legal professional, holding a Bachelor of Laws and Economics from the University of the Philippines. Complementing her academic achievements, Guada pursued a Certificate Course in Strategic Compliance in Banking Industry from DLSU-ABCOMP in 2014. She is also Certified as a Data Privacy Officer with the National Privacy Commission.
Jacob Turner is a Managing Director and Head of Legal for the Securities Services businesses at Citi.
He joined Citi’s Hong Kong office in 2005 and has served in a variety of in-house Legal roles, including Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory (BCMA), Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS), Citi Commercial Bank (CCB), Securities Services and Issuer Services. In 2006, Jacob facilitated the establishment of the TTS Legal team in the Mumbai Global Legal Office, and he will shortly be relocating to London for his new global role.
Jacob is a graduate of UC Berkeley School of Law and received his M.B.A. from Pepperdine University, both in his home state of California. He is a member of the New York, Washington, D.C. and Massachusetts Bars and is also Hong Kong qualified.
Jay Thiyagarajan, Head of Legal and Ethics, Prudential Singapore
Jay is a Singapore qualified lawyer and has extensive private practice and in-house experience in contentious and non-contentious life insurance, general insurance, re-insurance, investment management, general compliance, regulatory compliance, data privacy, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, financial crimes, employment and corporate secretarial matters.
Currently serving as the Head of Legal and Compliance at the Lightnet Group, Kunal manages the largest team in the group comprising a team of 16 legal and compliance professionals across Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines and Lithuania. Kunal oversees multiple payment licenses in all of the aforementioned jurisdictions and acts as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer for all of Lightnet's remittance operations. Kunal has also recently procured a Virtual Asset Service Provider license in Lithuania and passed an extremely stringent regulatory process in order to do so.
Previously, Kunal served as the Deputy Head of Banking and Finance at DFDL where Kunal has advised and represented several of the largest banks and international financial institutions in the world.
Pongsak Pittayathada, Legal & Compliance Lead, Boehringer Ingelheim (Thailand) Ltd.
Pongsak has amassed a wealth of experience in legal and compliance roles across a diverse range of industries. As the current Legal & Compliance Lead at Boehringer Ingelheim (Thai) Ltd., Pongsak is responsible for providing strategic legal counsel, overseeing legal affairs, healthcare compliance and ensuring adherence to both internal and external regulations.
Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Pongsak served as the Head of Public Affairs & Communications at Danone Thailand, Pongsak was the Head of Public Affairs & Communications at Danone Specialized Nutrition (Thailand) Ltd., where he led cross-functional teams and developed external communication strategies. Pongsak also held senior legal and compliance roles at Danone Specialized Nutrition (Thailand) Ltd. and Agoda Services Co., Ltd., demonstrating a consistent track record of managing legal risks, implementing compliance programs, and negotiating complex agreements.
Santipap Charasphaew, Head of Legal and Compliance, Bitazza
Santipap joined Bitazza, leading licensed digital assets broker under Thai SEC, in May 2021.He is currently active in the role of Head of Legal and Compliance at Bitazza, where his main responsibility are focusing on leading his team in various tasks on Cryptocurrency and Blockchain matters in both Legal and Compliance aspects. In past 5 years, he worked in a variety of in-house counsel and legal professional position in several industries such as Blockchain, Fintech, E-Payment (LianLian Global – licensed payment gateway company under Bank of Thailand), Venture Capital as well as law firms (Baker McKenzie) in Financial Services Practice Group, where his practice includes providing legal advice and analysis in connection with banking and finance, with a particular focus on digital asset matters. He has also been speaker at various conferences/seminars on digital assets and crypto currency regulations, E-commerce law and start up law.

Thanawat Bunnag, Assistant Director and DPO – Business Integrity, Legal, Compliance and Quality, Ek-Chai Distribution System Co., Ltd. (Lotus's)
Thanawat is currently the Assistant Director and Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Lotus. He is responsible for overseeing core compliance programs within the company, including Anti-Corruption/Bribery, Privacy, Antitrust, and others. Previously, he served as the Head of the Ethics and Compliance Department at a major telecommunications company, where he led various compliance programs and internal investigations. With almost twenty years of experience in legal and compliance fields, he possesses extensive expertise in areas such as Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption/Bribery, Conflict of Interest, Privacy (Data Protection), Antitrust (Competition Law), Internal Investigation, Compliance and Legal Risk Assessment, Compliance and Legal Controls, and Colleague Awareness, all approached systematically.
With over a decade of legal experiences in various fields of businesses, Theeravorn started his career in an international law firm which helped him built up his expertise and set him off to one of the globe’s reputed foods and beverages company. Theeravorn is now sitting in a regional role assisting 14 countries/BUs across APAC region.
Yim Woodman, Director, Compliance & Ethics Officer, Agoda
Yim leads the global Compliance & Ethics team at Agoda and responsible for the company's compliance program implementation with the focus on empowering Agodan's to do things the right way, promoting speak up culture while effectively manage & mitigate compliance risks. Prior to Agoda, Yim led the Compliance & Ethics program in Europe region for an engine manufacturing company. Yim is an experienced business leader having worked in several commercial areas including marketing strategy, channel management and channel development.
