Talwar Thakore & Associates has launched a dispute resolution practice with the addition of former Saraf and Partners lawyer Arunav Guha Roy as its first partner.

Roy was a partner-designate at Saraf, prior to which he was at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices and Juris Corp. He has over ten years of experience in representing clients in international arbitration and commercial dispute resolution, particularly in the infrastructure and construction sectors. Roy also advises on insolvency, and environmental and technology disputes.

"Efficient and practical dispute resolution and arbitration advice and support has become more critical than ever before for our clients. Listening to feedback from our clients, the firm has chosen to establish a litigation and disputes practice, and we are excited to welcome Arunav, whose expertise will be invaluable in delivering this practice," said Kunal Thakore and Gautam Saha, TT&A’s joint managing partners, in a statement.

With Roy’s hire, TT&A now was 28 partners across its offices.
