JCSS Law has hired transactional lawyer Jacqueline Aikin as a partner in Pune from Solomon & Co.

With nearly two decades of experience, Aikin advises transactions such as M&A and investment as well as general corporate, focusing on the renewable energy and automotive sectors.

Aikin joined Solomon & Co in 2018 as an associate partner and became a partner in 2022. Previously, she worked as an in-house counsel at renewable power company Suzlon Energy for nearly a decade.

JCSS Law was created by merger between Pune-based law firm Radhika Bali & Associates and compliance advisory JCSS in 2021. It has presence in Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Gurgaon, and Hyderabad, apart from Pune.

“Apart from her experience in corporate and commercial law, litigation and IPR, she would also be strengthening our renewable energy and automotive practice. Her expertise in cross-border transactions complements our growing international collaborations with countries like Singapore, Japan, Indonesia and the U.S.,” said Radhika Subhash, managing partner of JCSS Law, in a statement.

Following Aikin’s departure, Solomon & Co hired Haroon Asrar as the head of its Pune office.
