Suman Kumar Jha (L), a former associate partner at professional services firm Corporate Professionals (CP), has joined hands with former CP attorney Afnaan Siddiqui to co-found corporate legal services boutique Corp Legex Partners.

Headquartered in New Delhi, the firm also lists offices in Chandigarh and Bengaluru.

Corp Legex comprises a total of ten partners across practice areas, with a three-member advisory board, and nearly 20 associates. The team includes advocates, retired judges, chartered accountants, company secretaries, and former regulators.

Jha had been at CP for almost 12 years, where he specialised in domestic and cross-border transactional work across a variety of sectors. He was most recently heading the M&A and transaction advisory team at CP.

Siddiqui has been a senior associate at tax and accounting advisory En Pointe Adwisers in Jan 2022, before which he was at CP since 2017.  He also specialises in corporate transactions, insolvency law, data privacy, dispute resolution and regulatory affairs.
