Saraf and Partners has guided Indian Insurtech unicorn Acko on its acquisition of digital chronic care management company OneCare, part of the former’s efforts to build a comprehensive digital healthcare ecosystem.

While the financials of the deal were not disclosed, OneCare was valued at $1.4 billion in July after its recent $598 million fundraise.

Founded in 2021, OneCare has developed a unique omnichannel care model that combines advanced wearables, data-driven insights, and the accessibility of both physical clinics and virtual care teams.

The transaction is a strategic move to re-emphasize Acko’s broader vision of being a comprehensive healthcare provider to its customers, going beyond the insurance services.

Saraf senior partner Vaibhav Kakkar and partner Sahil Arora led the team advising Acko on the deal.
