JSA Advocates & Solicitors has advised Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, a state-owned energy company, and its subsidiary ONGC Green, on its $111.18 million acquisition of PTC Energy from PTC India, which was represented by Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

PTC Energy has an aggregate operational wind generation capacity of 288.80 MW which is spread over 7 projects which are in Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

The transaction document was signed on Sept. 13, 2024. The closure of the deal is subject to fulfilment of CPs of the transaction document.

JSA’s transaction team was led by partners Venkatesh Raman Prasad, Vishnu Sudarsan, Ashish Suman and Shashank Vikram Singh, and included principal associate Ashwin Nayar, senior associates Ayan Sinha and Jatin Talwar, and associates Asmita Maan, Ravneet Gill, Samrat Chakraborty and Shruti Maheshwari.

Antitrust partner Vaibhav Choukse and principal associate Nripi Jolly assisted with competition aspects of the deal.

CAM’s transaction team was led by partners Ritika Rathi and Sreetama Sen and included principal associate Nooreen Haider, senior associate Bhadra Nair and associates Aakash Rao and Esha Goyal.
