DSK Legal and Mayer Brown have advised Indian aromatic chemical manufacturer Eternis Fine Chemicals on its acquisition of Italian personal care company Sharon Personal Care from Israeli investor Tene Capital Fund, which was guided by Israeli firm EBN & Co.
The financial details of the deal were undisclosed, but reports suggest the deal was valued at over $100 million.
Through this deal, Eternis will expand its global footprint while leveraging Sharon’s multi-location research labs, manufacturing and distribution platforms. This acquisition marks a significant step to diversify offerings by widening the portfolio into a diverse but adjacent and fast-growing personal care segment, DSK said in a statement.
DSK’s team on the deal included partners Aparajit Bhattacharya and Harvinder Singh, associate partner Shruti Dogra, and senior associate Manhar Gulani. Bhattacharya also acted as the relationship partner and lead engagement partner for Eternis on the transaction.
DSK’s competition team advising on the deal comprised partner Abhishek Singh Baghel and associates Shivam Sharma and Ishan Handa.
