Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has advised Brigade Enterprises, a real estate developer in India, on its fundraising through qualified institutional placement (QIP) of equity shares totalling approximately $179 million. Khaitan & Co and Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee advised the book-running lead managers to the deal.

CAM has been highly active in the QIP market, advising Prestige Estates, another large real estate company, on its $595 million QIP last week. CAM also acted on the equity placements of Adani Energy and Vedanta, setting new records.

CAM’s capital markets team led by partner Reuben Chacko advised on the deal. The team included principal associate Rushab Dhandokia, and associates Surya Rajkumar, Rakshitha V, and Julia Joseph.

CAM’s real estate team also assisted on the deal, led by practice head Namrata Kolar, and partners Ashish Jain and Abhilash Pillai.

Khaitan's team, consisting of partner Thomas George, principal associate Suman Prabhu, and associates Komal Israni, Aadhya Singh, and Rupa Veena S, provided advice to the book-running lead managers for the QIP.
