Indian law firm Khaitan & Co has bolstered its hospitality offering with the addition of partner Megha Agarwal in Mumbai.

Agarwal, a former partner at Economic Laws Practice, left that firm in January. She has over 11 years of experience in the hospitality sector, specialising in hotel management agreements and franchise agreements, primarily advising hotel owners, and has also advised on divestments, acquisitions, partner buyouts and management structuring in the sector.

The move follows ELP’s hire of Khaitan’s hospitality practice head Sudip Mullick in October last year.

India’s hospitality sector, valued at $24 billion, remains poised for sustained growth in 2025, underpinned by robust domestic travel, a rebound in foreign tourism, and supportive government policies.
