Gurugram-headquartered law firm Antares Legal has announced the hiring of Ankit Jain as a partner in its disputes practice. Jain joins from Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India, where he was a partner designate.

With expertise in complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution, Jain focuses on commercial disputes, international and domestic arbitration, insolvency litigation, and competition matters.

Jain joined Luthra in 2022, when the firm merged with Verus Advocates, a firm led by commercial litigation and insolvency specialist Krishnayan Sen. Prior to that, he spent more than seven years at Verus, rising to the position of principal associate.

Jain becomes Antares’ third lateral partner hire this year and eighth partner overall. In July this year, the firm hired Sen, and in May it opened a Bengaluru office by welcoming transactions partner Sindhushree Gadasalli from local firm Mani Chengappa & Mathur.
